Thanks!

Balloon Wreath - Birthday Design

Alright, changing projects up again. Its time for a fun, colorful balloon wreath. This could be for any occasions with another color balloons. I specifically created this one for birthdays. It makes me think of confetti and all things birthday.

Thinking there could be an interchangeable ribbon or sign in the middle for holidays/parties/birthday person's name. Here is the basic design....

Did I mention..... that the shape and size of the wreath could be changed as well. I found a heart shape - thinking Valentine's Day?

More blankets (Soccer & Tinkerbell)

 Blankets.....

I now feel like I have become a master of make these no-sew fleece blankets. Granted you don't have to be a rocket scientist to make one of these, but sometimes it feels like you might. Most challenging part of making these blankets is making them square and not look completely crooked. If you saw the first one I ever made, you too might think I have mastered these skills.

I completed the following blankets... This is 2nd soccer ball pattern I have completed. This request came from my High School Spanish teacher, who saw the original one I had posted after completing it for my boyfriend's sister for Christmas in 2011.
Made for a former student of Minerva

Oh its finally a fun pattern! Tinkerbell!!!! Oh how I love fun requests that I can pick and choose. My only restrictions when asked for this blanket were: No Fairies.... and No Pink!

Results = Tinkerbell with a purple backing.
Made for Beth's 3 year old daughter

Monkeys..... Monkeys All Around....

So my main focus started out with diaper cakes and then moved to diaper cakes and blankets. Well as time continues on...... you can see I'm starting to do a variety of crafts and I love it!

Monkeys, Monkeys All Round...... makes you think of....... oh wait! Monkeys!!!!

You might be thinking, how did she come to talking about Monkeys or making something Monkey related? Well, let me tell you..... A gal at work decided to make her daughter's 1st birthday party, monkey themed!

She saw this idea for monkey centerpieces and asked me how difficult it would be to create them. After looking at the sample photo she showed me, I went to work on designing a sample for her. She loved it so much that she asked me to make all the centerpieces minus the fillers. Below are the results of the monkey heads.  :)

These 6 monkeys are double sided. Same face on both sides.

Oh! What a face!!! :)

Along with the monkey heads, she asked for me to create similar paper flowers. As you can see below, the  Monkeys were placed in jars with paper flowers. Jars were later filled with matching hot pink and lime green gums balls.

These little monkeys turned out to be such a popular hit at the party, that I was unable to get a copy of the finished product before they all disappeared.

Best Part = Learning to Make the Paper Flowers!

Easter

So I love spending time with my family during the holidays! This last year I did decided to create custom wreaths for Easter. I actually made two of these, but this is currently the only picture I could find.

This wreath includes approximately 90 plastic eggs attached to a Styrofoam backing with grass filler and rabbits.

This does take a little time and patience to make.
Enjoy!

Diaper Wreath Samples....

Over the last 6 months or so, I have been finding new ideas and projects and making different ones to see the complexity.

Newest addition to the Diaper projects is...... Diaper Wreaths. Below you will see a couple of pictures. One with the basic ribbon attached. The other with a hand painted letter in the center. Letters and ribbon colors can be changed and customized to whatever color scheme (boy/girl/neutral) or theme as best to my ability as possible.
